Need More Cushion in My Bed!

It seems like my bed is getting harder and harder. Is it me or is it the bed?  Hard beds didn't use to bother me but now a little cushion wouldn't hurt. So I've been looking at memory foam toppers. They all look so cushy I'm really thinking about buying one. Now I have to decide how thick a topper I want. My thoughts are the thicker the better!

Recession to Return to Europe? It NEVER Left the United States!

I read an article that the recession was to return to Europe. Well at least they were rid of it for awhile. It never left the United States. It hasn't gotten any better here at all. Except we are losing more companies to Mexico. Pretty soon we'll be the illegal aliens trying to get jobs in Mexico!

Nephew Getting Married I Need a Wedding Gift!

I've been searching through all sorts of wedding gifts to find just the right present. It's really hard to come up with a present when two households are combining. I think I finally found the right present though. They have about everything but the don't have a smoker so that's what they're getting.

Titanic Items Up For Auction!

I was sad to read that tons of Titanic's items will be going up for auction. It's so sad. They are really a piece of history. Over 5500 items will be sold as one lot. It's great that they are keeping it all together, but sad that it will belong to a collector and hidden from the publics eyes. What a shame.

Christmas and Humidors

I've been looking for a humidor for my father for Christmas. Finally I found some cheap humidors but still very nicely made. So I've decided to get him cigars too! I just can't wait until Christmas. I know he'll be surprised which will be a first since I never can usually surprise him. Now all I have to do is wrap it and make the box NOT look like a humidor!

The wonderful Christmas classic "It's a Wonderful Life" turned 65. I watch this movie every Christmas. It's part of my family tradition. I hope it never fades away. At least it won't with me.

My Husband Needs a New PA System

We are searching for a new pa system for my husbands band. Geez, there are a ton of choices. We are trying to decide between the Phonic Powerpod 780 / S715 PA Package and the Fender Passport 300 Pro Portable PA System. It seems like we've been discussing this for ages and we're making no headway. I guess I just need him to make the decision since it's his band but it's my money too. So my answer to myself is bite tongue, bite tongue, bite tongue.

I was sorry to hear that Harry Morgan had passed away. I use to love him in Dragnet. Another age going by. It's so sad. I hate it when my favorite actors die.

Christmas Shopping Again!

I'll personally be glad when I have my Christmas shopping done. Today I found funny t shirts for my husband. He loves Shrek and the Grinch so I found him one of each. I think he'll love them. Thought about buying one for my brother in law but couldn't decide on which one to get. I bought myself one too with Eeyore on it. Anyway, now all I have to do is keep my fingers crossed that he'll like them.
