Farrah Fawcett Funeral Today

Today was Farrah Fawcett's funeral. She put up such a good fight. What a incredibly brave woman she was. I wish that Ryan O'Neal had married her though. What a sad day. I watched her documentary on TV, and she had such a big heart and spirit. To go thru such an awful fight with the cancer and then to let them film it to possibly help someone else going thru it too was a wonderful thing. My condolences to her family and friends.

Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest

I read in the news that Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest. I don't think they are sure if it is from a drug overdose or not. He did admit in court that he did have a drug problem. Why do they get addicted and not do something about it. It is such a sad loss. My prayers are with his family, and his children.

I just got my new Kettleball!

I have been reading a lot about Kettlebells lately. The funny thing about them is they actually look like kettles somewhat. Anyway, I have been wanting to build up my arms and get rid of the flab so I thought I would try a Kettlebell. I love the handle it makes it so much easier to use. I have started doing arm lifts, so keep your fingers crossed that I can get rid of that terrible under arm wobble!

Ed McMahon Died Today a Terrible Loss!

I watched Ed McMahon for years as Johnny Carson's side kick on The Tonight Show. He always seemed to be a really nice person, and a great guy. It's always so sad when someone we have watched for years passes away. It's a loss of another wonderful person.

Should I or Shouldn't I?

I was reading some nuphedra reviews today trying to decide if I wanted to try taking it to help decrease my appetite. It sounds like it uses a lot of natural ingredients to suppress the appetite and help with fat loss. It does have caffeine in it, and I don't handle caffeine too well. The caffeine does come from tea though. So I might try it for a few days if possible we will see what happens.

Simon leave Susan Boyle ALONE!

Susan Boyle lived a very quiet life BEFORE this instant fame hit. Now Simon is saying that he wouldn't have given her a contract if he didn't think she would finish the singing contract. Come on bud! She has been under an extreme amount of stress since her first performance. Much more than the other contestants because of her instant fame. I think everyone needs to cut her some slack. She is trying and doing her best. Keep going Susan and ignore all the butt holes like SIMON!

Losing Weight is Hard!

Man I want to lose some weight, but as you get older it gets harder and harder to lose weight. I would like to find some diet pills that work! I really would prefer to have something natural that wouldn't hurt me. I have looked at several different websites, but just can't decide which one is the best to use. Does anyone have any suggestions?

EPA Declares Libby, Montana a Health Emergency

I heard on the news today that a closed vermiculite mine close to Libby has been cited in the deaths of a couple hundred people, and the illnesses of thousands. The mine has Asbestos contamination, and the miners would carry the asbestos home on their clothes. This is the first time the EPA has every made this kind of determination. I hope that this will help the people in Libby live in their homes without fear of illness.

Have the TV now I need the TV Stand!

My husband and I bought a new HD flat TV so now I am looking at TV stands. I can't really decide what style I'm looking for. I think I would like a oak stand with a plain style. I really don't like a lot of curly cues on my furniture. I also saw a black cabinet with a lot of glass that I liked also. Now I have to go back, and look at them a little closer to check out the quality of each TV stand, and the price. I want quality for a reasonable price and sometimes that's hard to find. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Glenn Beck What are they hollering at him about now?

Boy is Glenn Beck in the news. What the heck did he supposedly do this time? He did talk to Chuck Norris and they were kidding about Texas seceding from the union. I think they are half kidding, half serious. I'm with them this government is insane. They want to tax everything while they take away our freedoms. I don't know about you but I don't live in a socialist country, and I want to keep my freedom!

What is the best digital camcorder?

My hubby and I have been looking at the different digital camcorders available. I really want one that is compact and really easy to use. My husband wants one that he can make videos with. Is there one that's great for both uses? I also would like one that is moderately priced. We've looked at Sony, Samsung, Phillips and a few others. I'm just not really sure which is the best. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Belmont Stakes Time Again!

It's time for the Belmont Stakes again. I would really like to go to one just once. I have been to dog races but never to a horse race. I would really like to see all the jockeys on the horses. It would be soo cool! Anyway I just want to say good luck to the horses and the jockeys. May the best man and horse win!

Porcelain Tile or Vinyl Flooring?

I am really trying to decide between porcelain tile, and vinyl flooring for the bathroom. I like the look of tile, but I am concerned about cracking (I have a problem dropping my curling iron once in a while). I know it won't happen with vinyl, but it's not as good looking as tile in my opinion. I guess I am going to have to see if they have tough tile so it won't crack when I drop curling irons on it. If anyone has a suggestion I'm all ears.

David Carradine has died Its so sad!

I was so sorry to hear that David Carradine has died. They said they thought it might be a suicide. Why would he do that? I just can't believe that is what it was. I think someone possibly did it to him. He was hung. What a horrible way to die. I give my condolences to the family. It's always said when we lose a legend.
