Was Black Friday a bust or What!
I looked at the ads on Thanksgiving Day. I wasn't really impressed. I did find a few things though. I got up early Friday morning, and went to Walmart first. Good God! Those people were crazy! The other problem was they didn't have enough of the items listed in the ads. People were fighting and scraping for what was available. They DEFINITELY did not have the Christmas spirit. What has Christmas come to? Why do we have to fight each other to get good Christmas deals? This is the worst part of Black Friday. PEOPLE! WAKE UP! Christmas is about family, giving, and love NOT the newest gizmo or gadget on the market. Friday at Walmart was very disillusioning. It was just sad. I love Black Friday but, I hate the fighting, and trouble.

I agree it's crazy how some people push and shove in the stores just to save a few bucks. I don't go to the stores until much later in the morning. It's usually a lot calmer by then and not as busy. I prefer to do most of my shopping online.
I forgot to say that I have an award for you top pick up at my blog The Cajun Blogger
Did you hear about the New York WalMart employee who got trampled to death by the crowd on Black Friday? How can people be so rude and mean. Even after they tried to close the store, the stupid people wouldn't leave! They just kept right on shopping.
I have to agree Walmart was crazy here too! But I saved a lot so I don't mind the arguing it's only once a year! Hope you had a great holiday!

Mom said Black Friday was really bad this year....we didn't see any good buys on cat toys or temptations or anything good like that!

I stayed in bed, LOL. Had planned to do some shopping, but, oh well....
I have an award for you--stop by! It's at notes from a wannabe wahm.blogspot.com
I wasn't brave enough to hit the shops on Black Friday. I think I will just order online and pick up presents along the way.
Yes, the commercialism of Christmas is crazy! I have to wonder, with the economy as it is, what next year's Christmas season will be like? Will there even be a Black Friday? I truely hope things don't turn really bad financially, but maybe with less money to spend we'll at least be able to focus on those things that are important, like family!
