Gambling, Casinos and the Economy

I, my husband, my sister, her husband, and my brother and his wife all went gambling yesterday. Talk about a dead zone. When we walked in in the afternoon it was a ghost place. There were very few people in there. Most of the casinos have also lowered there hours. Around her they were open 24 hours a day and now they close at 2am to 8am. I can really tell that the economy is starting to have an effect on them. Everyones business is slowing down so it is really affecting them too because people just do have the money to spend. I love to gamble, but life is more important ya know.

I guess that proves that the economy really sucks for everyone! However, it is good that people aren't gambling their hard earned money away! As much as I love to gamble I certainly can't afford it right now!

Interesting insight. I hadn't heard anything in the news about how the casinos were doing. I wonder how the towns around the casinos are doing, probably poorly as well.

I hadn't heard that the casinos had fewer customers, but I guess it doesn't surprise me. I wonder when this whole economy thing is going to turn around......
