Halloween is Coming! Halloween is coming!
Are you ready to make your favorite Halloween cupcakes or get your costume ready for the Halloween party? I am but still can't find all the pieces to my costume. I really want to go as Minnie Mouse, but I may dress as a French maid I am not sure. I still have to come up with parts of both costumes. I may just change my mind again, and maybe try something easier. I am ready to make chocolate cupcakes with orange frosting and to decorate my house for Halloween. I love handing out candy although we are going to a Halloween party this year so I don't know how much I will be able to hand out. This is really a kids event. Aren't they cute in their costumes? The nice thing is we adults get to party and enjoy it too!

I think that I am more excited this year about Halloween because of my 1 year old son. We are going to dress him up as a "rock star". It should be fun and get a giggle out of family.
I'm going to be the Queen of Hearts. I love dressing up too! This year we have a party to go to so we will be indoors where it is warm for a little bit, then we will hit the road and go trick-or-treating for a bit. Should be fun!
It really is a kid's day for fun. It's not like it was when we were kids, though. We could go out with our friends and not have to be escorted by parents for safety. it's a pity, really.

We did some decorating yesterday...so fun! My kids love Halloween and I admit I do too. It just amazes me how fast it comes around every year...egads! Soon we'll be doing the New Year's thing!
