Colin Powell endorses Obama?
Has Colin Powell lost his mind? I am not for either candidate. Actually I think our selections this election really bite. In my opinion they are both awful. I will vote for McCain against Obama because I think he is less of the two evils, but really who knows?? There are a lot of black people who do not like Obama so I was really surprised that Colin Powell endorsed him. My main thought on a lot of this is what could these people be thinking??

Whoa! I didn't know Colin Powell was supporting him! I will definitely be voting for McCain, but I would've actually liked to see Colin Powell run. Maybe his views aren't what I thought they were.

People can endorse who ever they want, but I saw on MSN today that Obama said that Powell would have a position in his cabinet.
Did Obama buy Powell just as easily as the media?
Ugh.

I know, I was totally taken aback by Colin's support of Obama....unfortunately, I think that will have an impact because Colin is pretty well respected...I would have voted for him if he had run!

I have always respected Colin Powell... until now. My opinion is Obama is not ready to lead this country and I just would have though Powell of all people could see that. He did not offer one reason Obama is proven other than his words he throws out there. I can read a telepromtor too.. Can I be President? Sorry if I offended anyone.. just my thoughts :)
Well McCain showed me that he did not have sound judgement when he chose Sarah Palin. I am not excited about either candidate, personally, but Sarah Palin caused McCain to lose my vote. If he just HAD to pic a woman, he could have begged Condi Rice!
