The hurricanes are bringing the RAIN!
I feel really sorry for everyone who have been hit by the hurricane's, and tropical storms. Wow 6 of them. They are Gustav, Hanna, Ike, Josephine, Karina, and Lowell. We don't get the bad winds and storms, but here in Kansas, we do get the rain! The forecast says we will have rain for the next week solid. The temperature is unusually cold too. It is only 58 degrees here today. It is supposed to stay cool all week. This is just not normal Kansas weather. We usually have hot weather into the middle to end of September, and don't see cold weather until October. They did say the bison were putting on their winter capes already. Dang Buffalo!

I can't believe how many hurricanes there have been. It's crazy. My mom-in-law and dad-in-law live in Alabama near Mobile and we've been worrying about them.
I can just picture the buffalo running around in capes. lmao. Anyways I left you an award on my blog. To accept it go here.

Yeah, we usually don't feel the effects of hurricanes either, but we get the rain. Expected here by Friday..here in Indiana. That does sound a bit cold for this time of year. Tonight its suppose to get down to 47..yuck, snow will be next.

We sometimes get the remnants of the hurricanes, too. Like Ike, for instance, after it hits Texas, we'll probably get what is leftover if it continues on across the lower southwest.
