Hurricane Ike YIKES!
Well it's coming. They say that hurricane Ike could be catastrophic. They told the people in Galveston that they needed to evacuate, if they didn't it would mean "CERTAIN DEATH". For me that would have been enough said. They are expecting flooding all the way up to Dallas, and possibly further. I live in Kansas and we have been getting a lot of rain. There is already flash flood watches going on. If we get rain from the hurricane we may need to get out our boat!

I don't know why phrases like that wouldn't make people leave...would have worked on me!
I live in KY and there hasn't been school all week because so many people are without power - still, 3 days later! I can't imagine how hard it was in TX!
