Why is she with him?
My friend is 42. She is dating a guy with A LOT of baggage. They have been dating for over a year. He is in terrible financial shape and from many of the things he has done he is pretty much an idiot. They don't get along that well. I asked her why are you with him? Get this, her answer was that men are not that easy to find at her age. Can you believe that? Well, she called me the other day to gripe about him, and I had had enough! I told her she is choosing to stay with him, so she gets what she deserves, and I don't want to hear anymore about it. She asked why I was mad I said I wasn't, but I was tired of hearing about it. My thoughts you choose that relationship you lose your gripe rights. My other thought is why stay with a loser when you deserve better.

Hi, I have been asking myself that question now for 17 years. Me and my daughters dad lived together for about 12 years,(I was living in sin at the time, but since have found the truth), but thats not the reason I had him move out. He is an alcoholic. And I still can't break myself from him. Even though we don't live in the same house, I still see him about an hour a night so our daughter can see him (and me I believe as well). I have tried to free myself of him, but can't. Any advice would be highly appreciated because I too, would like to meet "The One". I know hes out there somewhere, but with my ex, I have no chance of finding him. God bless, and love your kitty cats..My kitty just jumped up in my lap..

Aw Barbara,
You can let him see his daughter, but don't let that trap you. Do you have any friends you can go out with? Have you thought about Match.com? The reason you are still focused on him is because you have let yourself look. Try your church or do you friends know anyone who is single? I didn't go to bars very often, but I actually met my husband thru friends when we all went out to a club one night. We have been married 16 years.
sorry for the bad spelling. I meant to say in my previous post is that you haven't let yourself look. Do your friends know anyone that is single? Sorry for the bad spelling it's early.
