Strike, Strike, Strike!

Well here we are day 2 of the strike. There have been only a few workers that have crossed the picket lines here. The union hasn't heard anything from the company yet but we are in it for the long haul. Sometimes you have to stand up for what is RIGHT! Since Hawker Beechcraft took over EVERYTHING has gone down hill. One thing my husband says he has learned is that the new company plays VERY DIRTY. Wouldn't that be a sad thing to be known for? I don't work there, but it affects me too. The insurance costs would go up a lot. They wanted to change how they pay and the set up of the shifts, and last but not least the raise wouldn't cover how much the insurance was supposed to go up. Like I said a bad contract. My husband is enjoying these first few days of the strike though, he can catch up on his sleep!
