Strange Weather for August!
In Kansas August is one of the hottest months of the year normally. It is also a drought month no rain or very little. This year the temperatures are lower than normal in the 80's when they normally run in the 100's. We have also been getting some rain. I am afraid it doesn't bode well for the upcoming winter. I read an article that on a buffalo farm the buffalo are already putting on their winter coats! The other signs are that the spiders are weaving their webs higher and the husks on corn is thicker. I especially wonder who has been watching the spiders! Anyway last year was awful with lots of snow and ice storms. I really hope this year isn't worse.

We had some really hot weather here in WV for late August. We're in the Valley by a river and it is usually cool. My daughter kept complaining that they had shut the town pool down too early...lol.
