Lots of Space!

I went out on the screen porch with the cats the other day early in the morning. The sky was beautiful. As I talk to my learners I find they don't understand the vastness of the United States. Most of the countries have 40 million people or more in them. A lot of the countries are about the size of one yes one of our states. One state with 40 million people? There are a few I am sure but most are like Kansas. We have about 2.7 million people in the WHOLE STATE! The difference? TONS AND TONS of space. I just didn't realize how lucky we are to live here. Don't misunderstand Europe is beautiful and full of beautiful places. We also have beautiful places in the USA, and LOTS of space. That is what I love most LOTS OF SPACE!
